February CCC.... love is in the air.....

I heard that my CCC recipient has received my card so I'll share it here.   Our themes for February were: Dogs / Hearts / Friendship and we had a sketch to follow.

I decided to use all three of the themes and the sketch

I used a very cute image from Tiddly Inks.  I practiced my fur colouring on these sweeties.  I die cut a heart to frame them.  I used some heart PP to follow the sketch.  And my sentiment is for my friendship theme.  I added this to the Tiddly Inks Challenge.

And today I decided to enter another card into the Tiddly Inks Challenge. - Give Love.

This is Wryn - Have Heart and I used my pencils to colour her up.  I added some PP with hearts on it.  I love how my colouring has improved over time with doing the classes at Kit and Clowder.

I'm looking forward to my weekend as my stamping group is meeting - it's been a while as we all have been very busy.  And one of our member Sandie had a heart attack last Sept and is only just getting back on her feet.

Thanks for visiting today.

Missing in Action.....

I can't believe it's been almost two weeks since I posted..... time has gotten away on me.  I have started an exercise routine that involves walking for a minimum of 50 mintues a day which I do after work.  Then I'm exhausted and haven't even done more than a couple of cards in that time..

This one was  a commission for a friend of a friend for her 80 year old mother.

Then the last weekend I didn't get any card making done as Hubby and I went off on our Mystery Weekend.   We went to Nelson.  It is near the top of the South Island

Here are some photos of the amazing scenery.    We did a drive from Nelson to Blenheim via Picton, along the Queen Charlotte Sound drive.

Once we got to Blenheim we visited three vineyards for tastings.  Here a pic from Hunter's -

On Sunday, we walked up to the Centre of NZ -  a 30 min walk all up hill.... I huffed and puffed my way up finally getting there.  Amazing views from the top

 Incredible views.
We ended up having lunch at a Brewery in Stoke and a swim at Tahuna Beach before flying home on the 4.15 flight.

So a very fun and relaxing weekend away.

Now to get the mojo flowing and get some cards made.   I've got DT work to do, and some class work for my Altenew Accreditation.

Thanks for stopping by -
